Hi allI post a question regarding the raedme file for the upcoming patch... The list of repairs and fixes is so small !! And I find it amazing that after 3 months of working that's what they came up with , the main issues still remain ... I don't see anything telling that the crowded skies have been patched or anything about resupplies.... And then they try to outsmart us by posting "previous fixes" and listing all the 1.07 fixes ... If you check the ammount of space the 1.08 fixes took from the entire readme file you will laugh... I believe this is the final readme because you can read it right next to the official 1.08 release date (6/12/99) on the falcon4 web site. I think that first you should fix the sim (AI and campaign) and then when it rocks you can address graphics and 1024X768 resolutions to keep it with the same same class as newer sims ... One more thing , I read in another web site that graphics have been improved in the patch (like better looking flares) but amazingly those details have missed the readme file ... Maybe they want us to see for ourselves, I don't know ... All I can say is that I truly hope that the patch has more than the readme says ... Only because I'm afraid that this patch is the last one... but that's for another time ... Comments are welcome ... Good luck and good hunting ...

There seems to be some confusion over the size of the 108 patch and why its so big.If you consider that the 108 patch actually contains the previous patches up to 1.07, and that there is now included a hires 2d cockpit, 108 actually doesn't seem that large anymore. The patches up to 107 did not include any major art upgrades. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one (as I'm sure someone will). What would Hasbroprose commit in terms of resources for the patch. Probably not much. I'll bet F15 will be a mother of a program, and will solve some major issues just because of the commitment of resources to that project. In other words: patching the product = no direct increased revenue = no human resource comitment. MDV
