I am so tire of hearing this crap.

If you are going to pirate this game then don’t be stupid enough to ask here for the docs.

Not to many things get me wound up but when a Damn good developer provides us with an excellent game for fewer than 50 bucks then get off your ass and buy it.

There is not to many of them left and we have to support the ones that support us. I am willing to bet that Gunship costs more the EECH. Take my keycard and manual for GS wipe your Microprose with if for all I care. But don’t mess with Razorworks.
I have been waiting far to long for a punk ass cheap bastard to ruin it for me.

Sorry for my colorful words but some people must think we are all idiots here?

This thread is leading nowhere.........

so

Is "bitch slapped", to be "slapped like a bitch", or to be "slapped by a bitch"?

Ah, yes. The "bitch-slap."

Isn't domestic violence fun? As if. Come now, fellas. I know you all have more respect than that for the women in your lives. Can we not find a less offensive way to vent our righteous anger on software pirates than that?

Ehm....
How about this one:
If you loose your key card, CD, mannual, ect.. You should be shot!

But what does "bitch slapped" mean anyway?
(might learn something from this forum then)

Cheers

It means to be slapped like a bitch. And if someone bitch slaps you, well then that makes you his bitch, or at least brings you down to a bitch's level. That's how it works.

The Term "Bitch Slapped" In my circle the term bitch is not gender specific.

CAT?

I do not indorse or condone domestic abuse in anyway. In my line of work I put up with pirates and the effects on development.

But someone that feels that he / she is entitled to software without having to pay for it is as low as they come. Thieves are all they are.

Now I must apologize if my emotion offended anyone but I believe my point was made. I was not pointing figures, you know if it applies to you.

BTW Welcome CAT and nice writing!

I would love to acquire targets for you anytime. Just make sure you terminate with malice!

Gecko

Personally, I feel perfectly entitled to use software I've paid for. Maybe I'm a bit out of touch though.

Hi Gecko-

I've read the FARP articles on your website. Very interesting stuff.

Many women, self included, take offense not at you gentlemen personally, but at the fact that many seem to think it is okay collectively to refer to us as "bitches" and put out popular music that gives out the message that it is acceptable to beat, shoot, and otherwise abuse us. So I sound off about it whenever I see it. Many just don't realize what the "bitch slap" signifies to a woman. Others just don't care, and I pity the women in their lives.

Ask a black man how it feels to be called "boy." From what I have been told, the feeling is similar. I'm not a feminazi or a PC-lunatic, but I do believe that in public we should all watch our mouths and stay away from ethnic and gender-biased slurs. Civility isn't PC. It's just common decency.

Cat,

To me, "bitch slap" signifies kicking a femine canine (dog). Not that being cruel to animals is any better. But hey, English is not my mother toungue. I don't think Gecko wanted to imply anything sexist with his using this specific term. On the other hand, you are probably right that sometimes people don't even think about those things and maybe it *is* wrong in the general sense that our society has to loose this attitude.

Cheers,
Scout

For the record I have been humbled and my eyes have been opened to the seriousness of my earlier statement. My world is not only based on my perceptions and my experiences and I am being arrogant for thinking that everyone thinks like me.

I can honestly say that I have never called a female of any age a bitch. I have referred to it when I have called guys SOBs. But that is not the same.

Thank you for the enlightenment and I am a better person for it.
