Author Topic: My comp sucks... Bogey Member Member # 998 posted 07-01-2000 11:08 AM                   There's not enough ventilation in my tower, so the graphics chip runs too hot whenever the graphics in EECH becomes to complex. That is, for example, over a city, looking through any optics at a smoking (purple or black) object almost instantly causes the chip to overheat and the screen to go black and I have to reset the comp... DAMN! Put in a another fan, you might say now, but it's not that easy. The comp is not bought, but rather leased through work. I am not allowed to open it, as it really doesn't belong to me. I have to have a fan installed by an authorized dealer... The fan doesn't cost much, but they charge over 90 USD an hour for the work, and the minimum time they charge is one hour... DAMN again... ------------------ Up there, where the air is rare...
