Saw over at Simhq this link to Yahoo about a possible impending closure/sale of the most influential graphics companies for games and sims. Not sure if this is a hack or joke, but anyways...

ATI wont give nvidia an easy time.

Radeon was their "first" real 3d card, while nvidia was the tnt2, nvidia got more experience in drivers but just wait till ATI warm up, Radeon 2 and radeon maxx will kick some major *** , since radeon 2 is gonna compete with the nv20 in speed, the radeon maxx will be twice the speed of radeon 2 and will launch a month or 2 after radeon2, i dont know how nvidia will face that, twice the speed of nv20

Also ATI will be the video makers of the gamecube (nintendo) next console, so for the budget to compete with nvidia, there will be plenty
