This one is painted in "Sea" Camo though it features no transparent canopy, that the only one I've got. But do check out the cockpit. The instrument is very user-friendly to use and quite authentic in the sense that all measurements are in metrics.

It's flight model is also very good.

Robert

I feel the same way as Ceebee does. I just bought CFS2 recently and have read about your postings. Is it from www.simviation.com ? There are quite a few Hawker Sea Fury skin up there, why don't you try out some others?

The cockpit is okay. Actually, is it instrument-able? In darkness, instrument lights are crucial I think.

I fly the game a few hours in day time and at night. Just wonder how to land in the dark. Maybe the pilots didn't fly any missions in the dark during WWII.

How about this one?

The cockpit is quite different. I really can't tell which one is the most authentic. But the Sea Fury is a nearly post-WWII aircraft, so the instrument may be more advanced than others.

The Sea Fury I shot down a MiG-15 Sabre in the Korean War theatre. The first one's panel is more electronic than this one: at least the gear indicator are lights and the flaps indicator. But I am beginning to like this warbird. The servicing ceiling is as high as 36,000 ft. The max speed is 460mph. Quite manuverable. This is going to be one of my choice in future online combat with other pilots from all aover the world.

"Maybe the pilots didn't fly any missions in the dark during WWII."

remember Apollo 13 and Jim Lovell

apparently he used the alge that follows in the wake of the Carrier and they glow with light from the moon to make his way back at night in WW2 in the Pacific

I like the second one. Looks like the Fury at the museum here in Ottawa (except ours has no stripes).

Spawnbob,
I thought that that happened during the 50s when he was in a Banshee. But I could be wrong, I am just going by what Tom Hanks said in the movie .

P.S. You should try the Typhoon (or Tempest). It is the land based RAF plane that the Sea Fury is based on.

Spawnbob:

Yes. But you don't always have alge to bring you home do you?

The Whistler:

The Typhoon is good too. I have it in my collections. Actually, think the Sea Fury is based on Typhoon which is based on Spitfire Mk. The engine of Sea Fury is very powerful. Typhoon accounts for a great number of Germany planes thus earning its reputation.

I shall have some Tornado for you later. I love that jet. It's only that not many sims out there for it.
