Whistler, having seen the kind of screenshots you choose to post, I have to admit, in all honesty, that you have a serious problem, at least, visualy.

This has to be the ugliest screen I have seen... in a loooooong time

Seriously.

Those graphics look like something from 1994 or 1995.

Major Tom,
This screenshot was submited to Janes by a user who probably had his settings or resolution lower than you did.

Nick Moyrand,
Get a life man. Can't you see from the posts on all the other forums that nobody likes you? Make a new name or something. I didn't post this screen because it is the most beautiful graphically, I posted it because i like the way it was taken. I would much rather it be a screenshot from Jetwarrior: Vietnam but it isn't so live with it. Sorry for taking up your precious 28.8 bandwidth.

Timbo,
The original USNF engine (which '97 used) was made in 1994. It was quite good for its time but is nothing close to what we are spoiled with today. It also had lots of detail for its time. Look, you can even read the name of the carrier and the squadron number on the rear of the plane.

That F-8 actually looks pretty good...the shape is clean and it's textured pretty well. Can't say the same for the F/A-18 or the F-14, though.

USNF was a big baraboom, when came out. Was a real eye candy. I remember reading a preview,"...this game needs some HP,something like DX266". BTW. the first Fsim released on CD-ROM only.

It worked fine on my P100, which was top of the line when USNF came out I believe. That old battlehorse worked damn good. Ran JSF, EF2000, Flanker, Aces over Europe and USNF like a champ...

That is until a man named Bill Gates ruined it all!
