Hi!
I have two problems with F4. I have the 1.08 patch installed.

1)
Why doesn't the communication work? I press "T" for towercommunication and I get this list where I can choose an alternativ. I press a number but nothing happens... It has worked a couple of times. Sometimes it helps with a reset of the computer. I've tried a reinstall, but without any good result.
What's wrong?

2)
A other problem is that F4 quits to Windows every first time (after starting computer)I try to start the simulation.
Restart game and it works.
What's wrong?

I have a:
*233MHz
*64Mb
*Lots of free disc
*SB AWE64
*Voodoo Rush
*Virituel memory set to 200MB on my D:

Love to have som nice answers...

I would recommend downloading f4patch 2.11 and applying the recommended patches with it. It is a patching utility that includeds the ibeta exectuable and rp3. With this utility and the patches included there is a 100% improvement over f4 with just the 1.08 patch. It allows you to easily pick and apply patches for f4. Since I installed this and new driver's for my video card I haven't had a crash to desktop in over a month. I'm sorry but I don't remember the url to Joel Beirling's website with the utility. Check over at the f4 forum and do a search.

I'll try that when I get home. If I understood it right, the needed pathes comes with the F4PatchUtil?

F4patch has the ibeta exe included in it and it's an easy step to point your shortcut on the desktop to the ibeta exe when you start up F4. It's all in the Read Me text file included with the utility as to how to do this. Hope this works for you.

Hi!
I installed the F4patch util. But the tower communication still doesn't work when I have changed the keyassignment.
In F4Patch-readMe it said it was for Falcon 4 with 1.08 Patch and iBeta RP2. 1.08 I have but not ibeta Rp2. But in f4patch util the iBeta rp3 is included...
