Does anyone know whin the Jane's F-18 sim is comming out?
And has anyone sean or fone it?

I saw a box shot somewhere, that means something. Try www.janes.ea.com , there may be some news there.

I have seen dates ranging from Dec. 24 to Jan. 26th. From what I have read, I think the Jan. date is more accurate. I haven't flown it yet though Hopefully we will have a demo real soon!

Has anyone flown it? I've been flying it for two weeks. Check out our main index page for the links.

There is a rumor that it is being completed this week. If so it could ship by Dec.24.

Thank god for Janes...

The one thing I've been thinking about is how fast they've got this sim made. I'm not a computer expert or anything, and I really now jack squat about how long it takes to design and program a game, but it seems like just yesterday i was reading an article on this site that Janes was starting a highly detailed carrier sim...and now, this.

I can't wait, I have a somewhat low end system now, but I'm getting my 'puter for college shortly and i plan on optimizing it for JF18, any suggestions on video card etc...? I need not worry about HOTAS, that's one thing I made sure I had before I got any new games.

Its funny, I won't be able to play JF18 next year, for I'm off to military school...hehe, don't think they'd take too kindly to me flying a combat sim when I should be studying.
