Willie,

This ones for you bud. You caught me totally by surprise and I couldnt find any docs on the FMS, which peeved me till I found the answer. This is too much of a great feature of FLY to have been overlooked.

Thanks for bringing this question up, it increased my appreciation for FLY and forced me to do my homework. As is with Falcon4 and Flanker2 and Janes F15 and F18, learning the avionics is as much fun as the flying itself.
IMHO, this is where FLY! differentiates itself the most from any other Civie sim.

There are addons with full blown 757 cockpits that can be bought that airline captains use for practicing qual flights:

Enjoy, pop quiz tomorrow

Thomas AV8R Spann;

Once again you have come through for me. Tonight when I get home I will place a sign over my office door "Do Not Disturb." Of course all signs posted in my house must have my wife approval--as Bill Cosby would say "I use to be the boss; I don't know how I lost it or when I lost it." Back to the point; thank you so very much and when I hit the lotto, I will ask my wife how much can I contribute to the Thomas Spann CivSim Foundation. I'll post again tomorrow after I check out the links.

Willie,

Yes Im very blessed with a wife that patiently puts up with my "affair" with sims.
If anyone should get praise, its her.

Jesus Christ said:
"He who is the greatest of all, is he who is the greatest servant of all."

Words can be cheap, but actions speak volumes.
Truth is when the actions and words are one.

Glad to have been able to serve you.

Thomas
