Dear Anyone: I recently installed FS98 and have a Suncom HOTAS system. When I select the Options pull down menu and select Custom Controls, there is no selection for Joystick. Checking the "Enable Joystick" box does not enable the HOTAS. Any suggestions as to how to enable my Throttle/Joystick/Pedals would be greatly appreciated. The HOTAS works perfectly in all other sims. I have installed the game patch. Thank You for any Help!!!

I have the same problem with a Saitek X36 USB Combo. I can use all the buttons of the hotas but not the the stick/throttle/rudder. So any suggestions except deleting the config files would be very appreciated.

Thanks

Go into the controller options, scroll till you see the AXIS selection. It will be something like 'Y Axis' 'X Axis', etc. This will enable your joystick, at least the Saitek X36 (I had to do this to get mine to work, worked beautifully after that!!)
