Hi,
have someone experience with a CPU upgrade from a PII 266 to a Celeron 533?
My mainboard is a Gigabyte 440LX at 66Mhz. Two Voodoo2 each 12MB SLI, Adaptec SCSI card and Seagate hard drive.

Can I get from now 6-7 fps in the cockpit up to 10-12 fps with such a processor upgrade? Or maybe more?

I did a CPU upgrade from PII350 to K7-500 last December and another upgrade to PIII650 about 5 months before. And 3 months before I got a GeForce DDR 32M. Together with 256M RAM and a 20G Matrox HD, there is no great difference to me. I noticed that there was some topics concerning the fps question of JF18. They said that is a cpu problem rather than graphic card problem. But to me, it seems not a cpu problem either. I haven't figure it out yet.

I'm running a P3700E @ 933 and lets just say that I'm looking forward to that 2.5gig Proccessor. In other words a 533 ain't gonna do it bro.
