Hello everyone, I would just like to say hi, im a new member to this board. Im a senior in highschool and really into aviation of all kinds. I was into flight simulations, but school got me caught up so I stopped for awhile. My last sim was actually Janes F15. Since then all the sims have been changing dramatically, so now im back in the groove! All the games are fairly priced now, so I decided to go on a buying frenzy. I picked up Falcon 4.0 and Janes F18. I also picked up Super Hornet which was a bit more expensive. Just want to say these sims are great! The sims are very well in their own way! So i know there are much learning needed for all these sims, so if there are any pointers at all please show me the way!

There are some great user enhancements for F/A-18. New sky colors, clouds, and aircraft skins.

Good for you Kidd. You will need to do some neccessary things for Falcon4 for it to run more up to speed then just out of the box. You will need to go to Falcon4.com and download the US 1.08patch then you will have to install it but don't fly F4 yet! Then you will need to go to www.ibeta.com and download the Realism Patch 3 for Falcon 4. The guys at ibeta made F4 for Microprose when they worked there so it will be fine to use it. Install the RP3 patch. Make a shortcut from your F4 folder so you load F4 with the RP3.exe not the F4.exe other wise you will not be flying with the patch. Falcon4 is a delight with the RP3 patch. Enjoy.
