A little off topic, but Navy related.
On 22 October the movie "Men of Honor" opens. Stars Cuba Gooding Jr. and Robert DeNiro. It's the true life story of Carl Brashear, the first black Master Navy Diver, who lost a leg in 1966, yet perservered to maintain his status as a diver and achieve his master rating. He is also on of only 7 enlisted men to be written into the Naval Oral Histories.
Anyway, I'm a little biased, because I work with Carl Brashears son, Phil, who is a UH-60 pilot here in the Virginia Guard. I met Carl Brashear on several occasions, and he's a man to be admired.
