I figured out how to post screenshots so I will preview what I have been working on. Here is a shot of the runway. Enjoy.

Awesome. Look forward to getting some new runway art. The original is really crap (looks kinda like wood or ceramic tiles) and i haven't really found anything that i like. Yours looks good. Hopefully you'll post a link where i can pick up some of your stuff.
Appreciate your time, keep up the cool works of art.

The link in the above post is Fritzdog's temp site while they shift servers. I send him all my stuff so you can find it there. I am still doing stuff in the lower res due to my V3. Thr runway gets a bit rough when you are right on it, but it looks great from everywhere else IMHO.
Let me know if you want other stuff...lots can still be done, but there are many things that just can't be changed.

Hornit's runways sure Americanize the Russian strips, and look really good. But I hope none of you are badmouthing the originals because you think they were unrealistic. That's how they are constructed over there.

Vector is right. Hexagonal sections and that gross tan color are pretty much right on. I just wanted a change and thought it came out ok. For me it looks better..but may not be that realistic for all the bases over there. Nice to have options.
