For those maybe having trouble..try the GBU-29. Two dropped simultaneously do it every time for me. Also it seems the GBU-31 (penetrator) will kill bunkers in other missions I build but not this one. I also noticed the GBU-31 looks like it misses by just a hair, but the other GPS weapons do not. JSOW takes at least two and doesn't do well pitched up from low altitude. It sometimes overflies the target. (probably realistic too!)
Approach from very low altitude and from the west/southwest. I swing very wide this way early in the mission. Kill the SA-10 close to target and you should have no problem.
I'm also wondering if having unlimited ammo or invulnerability on might affect this? Just curious.

Hornit, Saw the same thing on this mission...dropped two GBU 31s right on it and failed the mission WTF? Maybe they went TOO deep and exploded under the bunker?

I'd love to take that SA 10 out to dance. Unfortunately, my HARM's keep missing the SAM radar by a wide mark. It's a pain in the arse! Can someone tell me if this is a glitch, or if they are just getting clever and shutting down their radar before the HARM goes terminal?

From what I understand if the SAM sites 'spots' your HARM launch they will shut down, pretty cool this is modelled.
There is another set of bunkers around Murmansk that I couldnt destroy with either 4 24A's or 4 31's, didnt try 29's since I assumed a penetration bomb was needed.
The thing is my wingman could destroy my target with the weapons Ive mentioned, but no matter what I did I could not. Thought this was strange.

Shouldn't matter. If Jane's modeled the HARM correctly, even if the SAM operators DO shut the SAM radar down when they detect the HARM launch, the HARM will still home in... because the HARM is programed to "map" the location of the illuminating radar and strike that location anyways if it loses the radar beam it's "riding".
That is a fairly simplified explaination of the process that happens, understand...

I've been able to kill DMPI 1 and 2, with two GBU-29's each, and STILL not complete the mission! My wingmen are never able to hit any primary or SEAD targets that I assign to them, and the ones I assign to CAP just get waxed. I end up getting chased back to the airfield by about eight gomers.
