Hey Well, I got it. WOW, the graphics are astounding from the setup though I had selected to check for updates and then when it did its thing and DL a 6meg patch it would'nt install completely ???

Ooh man. I hate it when that happens. Was it the Thunderbirds update?
If it has you in a pickle, I'd uninstall it and re-install. Then patch it with the USAF patch from the Janes site. Don't elect to have it check for updates. This is to say that USAF, in spite of it's shortcomings, is really a good game. The pluses far outweigh the minuses. Learn to use the UME too. It's tough to learn, but be patient with it and you'll be glad you did.
