I tried playing USAF on Jane's combatnet for the first time last night. Kept getting "failed to join session" once the host launched the game. Not sure if I didn't install some part of USAF, or just poor ping (yellow). I do have the 1.02F patch install.
Anyhow, when I played USAF offline afterward, the intro videos, music, sound, all got played at speeded-up rate. The old grizzled flight instructor now talks like Donald Duck :-). Has anyone experienced anything like that? I've had USAF for about 3 months and it ran fine before.

Hi hostile, I forgot to mention that I did have the same problem with a previous game, M1A2 I think, it had to do with my drivers. You mentioned yesterday that you just got F18 and that you were having problems with the drivers or something like that. It might have something to do with that. Maybe. Dondo

I fixed the problem by re-installing the old sound card driver. Thanks, Dondo. That suggestion is good for another plane ride :-).
