Here's what this wonderful patch has done for me: 1) It made it so that when I start a quick mission from the hangar, my wingmen no longer just try to take off straight out of the hangar and crash on the runway. Now they just don't take off at all and leave the entire mission up to me.2) The excessive roll rates in the F-16, 15, and 22 are fixed now in that they roll slower ONLY TO THE LEFT if I set the gain down using that joysticksetting.exe program. The planes still spin like hummingbirds to the right no matter what I try. 3) The 3D cockpit problem with the flashing clipping graphics on the Voodoo3 3000 was fixed only if you launched the game using the regular USAF.exe program. If I launched it using the Thunderbirds.exe add-on it was problem as usual. Fortunately 3dfx's newest drivers released well after the USAF patch have fixed this. Having said all that, I will say that I still love this game. It's NOT hardcore but it's FUN. I just wish now that you could get that sense of SPEED when your strafing in at 500 kts on a ground target. Although the airspeed indicator says I'm doing Mach 1 it feels more like I'm flying a Cessna 172 : )
