Clean install of Falcon RP4.
Running Win'98SE, with DX8.
I have a saitek X36 hotas (usb).

Now after finishing a standard TE mission Falcon is dead :black screen, but using ALT-TAB I can switch to windows desktop.

I recall that someone posted a message saying that X36 USB, F4-RP4 and DX8 were not a nice combination and that they switched back to DX7.

I cannot find the post anymore.

What are your experiences with this combination ?

Same setup, no problem. The only time I get a lockup or CTD is using LGB's and exiting the mission.
What mission(s) is that happening in?

I have the same setup using DX8 and have no problems. The only problem I've had with the X36F is the auto-config. utility. Once I disabled that, it was smooth sailing.
