Just wondering why upon occasion i will be taking off for a mission and my pilot pukes out this statement when i show nothing on the TWS? Also what is the criteria for this call from the AI? A radar lock?

Perhaps he see some choppers?

I have been wondering about this myself

But there is one thing that really bugs me, and that is when you are on the mission planning screen in campaign and the awacs goes into a loop and orders the same flight 50 times with the same message ... unbelievable annoying

"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
"Snake one! engage Mig 29's bearing 235, 25.000"
(sorry)

Ive had this happen as well with ground targets. It seems tthey stop repeating once you engage the target.

"Python 41 target is enemy artillery bullseye
075 35 miles cleared hot"

keeps going till i find the right ground group and drop a bomb on them.

Templer,

I know what you mean buddy!

What's annoying is getting the message directly after expending the last of your AG ordnance! The radio message repeats continually as you egress all the way back to base. My attempts to cancell it by responding "Unable", or changing radio frequencies have not worked. Anybody know how to suppress it?
