Hi all.

I have just got F2 and i remember a while back that there were issues with the graphics and voodoo cards. I also recall someone had made some tiles that improved the look of f2 for voodoo users.

I have a voodoo2 12m, and as yet have not installed flanker as i am trying to find what i need to get this sim right. I tried searching this forum for help but most was relating to voodoo3.

can anyone point me in the right direction to help me optimise this sim for my settings? Also, are there any other addons i must have?

cheers

Make sure you get the 2.02 patch and install that.

Also, delete the PCI HIGH - MEDIUM and LOW files to force your V2 card to use the superior graphics in the bazar folder.

Also, if your a sucker for pain download the 20mb terrain file (I only say pain cause I gotta 56k modem at home....oh, if only I could afford a cable modem )

Just using the graphics in the bazar folder will improve the look of the sim heaps.

Regards

Mailman

There a few add-ons you can use with flanker 2:
Fly all aircraft patch (only works with version 2.01 of Flanker 2, ir the first patch)

Fly Su-39 patch: (this one only works with the current version of Flanker 2, 2.02)

There are also add-on cockpits and winter and desert scenery and camo schemes.

I have a website with winter/desert schemes for some of the aircraft and vehicles in Flanker 2. The schemes are designed to be used with Pretzel's replacement scenery downloads. The fly all aircraft (ANYAC) patch and Flyable Su-39 patch are also on my website as well. The address is :
http://www.elysian58.freeserve.co.uk/

Pretzel's scenery add-ons http://members.xoom.com/Pretzelworks/

Ham's add-on cockpits (Su-27/33, Su-35 and Su-39) http://www.ozemail.com.au/~ldham/flanker/flanker.htm

TAR 2 file manager (simplifies installing all the camouflage/cockpit/scenery add-ons) http://www.escuadron.com/ARCHIVO/SU27/default.htm

There are also a number of sound add-ons as well, to change the wingman radio messages and Nagging Nadia from english to russian.

Hi Scott
forgot you were around, how silly of me.
I will do as you say. Hows the squadron?
Any new recuits?

Will follow your instructions. I have never flown online (too undisciplined) but if i get any better, are you still open for new flyers. Would like to give it a go and hey, were in the same timezone. (dont hold being an Auck against me. i support the hurricanes)

Oh yeah. Did you see the game? Huge match!! and the next clash is in wellington.

c u around

I have a few F2 fixes for Voodoo 3 cards. They should work fine for Voodoo 2 cards.

Go to www.dogfight.cjb.net
