Hi,

Apologies if this has been posted before, I just got F2 for Christmas and have mixed emotions about it! I asked for F2 for crimbo as I really like the hardcore sims.

Problem! Why doesn't F2 see my joystick in the list, it seems the most I can get out of it is a 4 button with hat! not good,

From what I've seen of F2 it shows promise! but this joystick thing is getting me down! Has anyone done a profile for it? is there one!

Thanks for any help given!

Your joystick has to be properly configured in the MS-Willitwork... I mean, the Windows control panel ;-). I have no experience with USB but it should be plug & play (=plug and pray). Try reinstalling.

If you can use it, but without the 4 lower buttons: I have the same problem, with every game. Must be a hardware fault.

I have the MS Precision Pro USB and it works really well in F2. Try this it you haven't; download the latest Sidewinder control panel from micro$oft (www.microsoft.com/sidewinder). Install the software and make sure you select the USB profile. Check to make sure the stick is working and programmable *before* starting F2. Good luck.
