I was wondering if anyone knows how come the trials and testing of the JSF seem to be 10X the pace of the F-22 in 1 month after first flight it is already doing simulated carrier lenses. Where the F-22 seems to be at a much slower pace of development. Maybe it just seems to be this way since its not a competition anymore.

Darren, I think you answered your own question. This is a pre-EMD competitive fly-off to showcase very basic flight performance. We're not even talking avionics, advanced flight regimes, etc. This is simply checking off predetermined boxes saying the contractor complied. This effort will slow once the contract is actually awarded and EMD begins.
