Firtsly, on the news this morning was a report about how 2 reporters sued some frog magazine for publishing false reports on some of the story's they ran about the Serb concentration camps in Bosnia and how the frogs had to fork over nearly $1,000,000 dollars in damages for telling lies about how the 2 created much of their stories about the concentration camps.

The court found that the frogs themselves had made much of their counter stories up...and that they even tried to claim that the 2 reporters hadnt even been to the concentration camps involved in their stories.

Anyway, the upshot of it all is that the frog magazine is nearly bankrupt anyway and may have all been a stunt by them to gain readership appeal.

Secondly, I see that the serb dogs had closed down a opposition radio station last week becuase it was broadcasting information at odds with the serb leadership....and some of you idiots claim western media is controlled..please, give me a break!

Hey, Maildude is back, what happened chief? too busy with with the sheep? yeah, I thought so, farming is tough ain't it?

Tell you what, the Rainbow Warrior "incident" (blessing really), you never got over right?

Well, you guys keep on herding and plankin', and more importantly... learn your roles... you know, sheep lovin' and stuff.

Lastly, Mailman, consider yourself lucky that we didn't take over your little island and forced you to speak French, you are lucky indeed!

A true Blue "Frog" and proud of it... well, sometimes .

I'm also a frog through and through, and damn proud of it! We will force you primitive Kiwi's to eat snails and drive around in Renaults and Peugeots waving the Tricolor and scooping up the thick layer of dog sh1t covering every French city street! Then you'll be sorry you slighted the mighty Gaulic race.

A link would help. Is this about that famous photograph that supposed to have been taken at a concentration camp and turned out to be nothing of the kind? The barb wire was actually around a small enclosure that the photographer was inside of.

I opened a thread with this subject back in middle of February. I named it “Picture that full the wor “. Terrible misspelling I must admit.
I will post couple of links there and bring the thread back to the top.

Well, what really happened is that our DGSE guys went overboard .

The ship was never meant to be bombed, merely stopped, but one of our genius jar head type (those guys are not the sharpest tools in the shed ) decided that a bomb "wouldn't do that much damage" LOL!

They unfortunately, out of sheer stupidity, took the life of one of the Rainbow Warrior guy with their "little explosion" , a badly planned operation headed by a couple of morons that, funily enough, couldn't speak a word of English! duh!

They got busted because they couldn't speak English and had in their possession some Australian passports... now, that's stupid !

you can read for yourself at the following link that what the magazine (LM) claimed:
http://www.srpska-mreza.com/lm-f97/lm-f97.html

It is perfectly reasonable journalism, which sheds light on the workings of popular media. The court ruling is a shame. reaction of LM(from their web site):

Mick Hume issued the following statement:

The only thing this court case has proved 'beyond reasonable doubt' is that English libel law is a disgrace to democracy and a menace to a free press.

As libel defendants, we were assumed to be guilty unless we could prove our innocence. The court threw out all of our expert witnesses, including John Simpson of the BBC and a leading QC. The judge's summing up was so one-sided that it made ITN's overpaid barrister redundant. And even though the central fact in our article concerning the position of the barbed-wire fence in relation to the journalists has never been seriously challenged, we could not win because the law demanded that we prove the unprovable.

We apologise for nothing. But we will not be appealing. Life is too short, and other issues too important, to waste any more time in the bizarre world of the libel courts.

As I told the judge and jury, I believe in the right of people to judge the truth for themselves in the court of public opinion. What we are allowed to read or hear should not be dictated by ITN, their lawyers, or even the High Court.

The future of LM magazine is now uncertain. But we are not going away, and we will not keep quiet about the concerns that led us to publish Thomas Deichmann's article and, reluctantly, to fight this case: freedom of speech, journalistic standards, and the exploitation of the Holocaust.

We would like to thank all those who have supported our stand for free speech over the past three years, and our legal team led by Gavin Millar, who won everything except the verdict.

In the meantime, if anybody needs a hard-working editor or has some cash to invest in an exciting magazine project....

---

I assume it was this you talked about.(you where not exactly 100 accurate..)

Whew, they used QC... Total legal costs of the case must be upwards of 100,000 GBP. No wonder the guy is looking for another job after that.
