Hello everyone,

I posted this to the Longbow mailing list and I wanted to ask here as well. The other night the rudder switch on my throttle broke. It's just the plastic part where it goes into the slide switch that broke, not the switch itself. I still have left rudder, but not right. I sent an e-mail to Saitek support to see if I could get a replacement part, but I'm not too hopeful of a reply after reading some of the other posts. I have gone back over the posts and see that a few of you are using CH rudders with the X-36. The Saitek site states that it will work with the regular rudders not the pro style. Could anyone one that is using this setup comment on it. How well it works, problems setting it up, and perhaps why not with the Pro rudders. My X-36 is working well and I really don't want to replace them yet, but I really need my rudder control back.

Thanks in advance, Fatdog

Fatdog,
Get yourself a set of simped rudder pedals.
They are quality precision, and work no probs with Saitek combo.

You should find a string on them if you look back a few weeks on this topic.

Fernando at saitek sent me a rudder toggle in an envelope within a few days. Pursue that route.

Thanks for replying,

I still haven't heard from Saitek through e-mail, and I tried them a couple times today on the phone without getting an answer.

Those Simped rudder pedals are great, but way more than I want to spend right now. If I don't hear from Saitek soon, I'll pick up the CH pedals.
