IL-2: Forgotten Battles is the much, much, much anticipated follow-on to IL-2 Sturmovik. Coming as it does from Oleg Maddox and 1C, we knew it would be good, but just how good? We have a full preview that touches on every aspect of this succesor to the one of the finest WWII air combat simulations of all time.

P40, Hurri, Ju87, HE111, all those German and Italian fighters. Sounds like the mythical Desert Air War sim to me is in the offing!

Great review! I can't wait.

Super job on the review Speccers! The new AC really makes this inviting! Though I am not sure yet if I will buy it. I haven't been able to get into the original as much as I had hoped.

Nice one Speccie.

I really can't wait for FB

When the Mother of All Flight Sims comes out I will be dropping everything else like a brick.

I'm sure this will be as great offline as much as online, with the variation of aircraft and dynamic campaign.
