According to the ad copy, Sudden Strike II is “…thrilling beyond imagination”. That's a pretty bold claim, and one our Aaron “Spectre” Watson investigates in this review.

Sounds like the "fog of war" is the most sucky part of an otherwise pretty good offering. I've found that different RTS titles allow you to see what something is if you move men or equipment nearby. Fair enough. If you move away or the AI moves that piece away you are "blind" again. Some games allow continued visual on an area you've moved to even if you retreat. Yes, it makes it easier but also much less frustrating.

It's true Twitch.

They have certai units that can see a little further, and a binocular view. The AI does
not seem hindered by this pesky fog of war, which makes it especially difficult.

And it is the type where if you lose a unit, you lose the view. No setting can change that.
