We've waited a long time, but Battlefield 1942 is here, in all its newly patched glory. Read along, faithful audience, as Joe "Impaler" Highman gives his 2 cents plus interest on the final retail release version of the title that made the WWII-FPS fan base dizzy with anticipation.

I love this game! Better than MOH? Not better or worse. Different. Less realism.
Don't expect when you fly the planes that it will be like a flight sim. AA is to acurate to me. But this game is fun!

I like it too. Like Donster said, it's not the best vehicle sim, but it's a good teamwork sim, and a more varied battlefield sim than we're used to seeing: air, land, sea, vehicles, troops, etc!

Thanks for your opinions, fellas. There is a lot to like about this game, and again, as is the case with any multiplayer shooter, the true fun is to be had when played with good teammates. Finding those teammates can be tricky, but once you do, this game is a blast!
