Great article Impaler! I for one am really looking forward to the release of this game! I just hope that EA does a better job with support than it has done with MoH. Maybe DICE is the key? Any word on a demo version yet?Donster -------------------- "Its a dog eat dog world out there, and I'm wearing Milkbone underwear!"

Good insight in to what looks to be a good title from DICE. I am neither an FPS guy, nor big on the multi-player thingmie. But I may have to give this one a shot, based on this fine write-up.Tell me, though. Are they keeping things pretty tight, like IL-2 has, to keep ha><or types from ruining the multiplayer aspect?

Thanks for the praise, Donster. I have no news currently about a proposed demo version, but I can tell you that things are on pace to make the late Q3 release, and it wouldnt surprise me at all if there is a public beta of at least one or two maps before the game goes gold. Make sure you check the Combatsim.com news page daily for any updates! (nice plug, huh?)

Thanks, Spectre. When I first got into multiplayer gaming, I was not an FPS fan either, largely because of the chaotic fragfest and the lack of team play. But then the hackers ruined the environment for all the players. This title, so far, has had many of the exploits tested and worked out. However, any title that gives the local machine an option of spawning a server presents some measure of hackability. There are several discussions in the forums at http://www.homelanfed.com/eabeta concerning cheating and hacking, and for the most part, things are pretty solid. Thanks for your time spent reading my article and for your question.
