Aircraft carriers are just a little different than other ships. They came into their own in World War II replacing the battleship as the premier combat vessel and have been top dog since. Philip Kaplan once again illustrates another facet of military life and history with hi-res, over-sized images and first hand accounts.

Hey buddy! Yeah when I went ti the American Aces Convention in Washington DC the air & Space bookstore was awesome! I could have spent $1000 with no trouble.
