Wow...finally we're getting some honest-to-god meat about EF:Typhoon. Looking very much forward to the next instalments. So far, Len, I can live with everything that you say is missing from Typhoon relative to TAW. From what your saying, the Wingman AI seems competent. I'll be very interested to hear what you have to say about the campaign engine. Perhaps that's when pilot management/wingman interaction will really show its colours. Zhukov

Then the double solids return, and he's back to 30. And keeps his left turn signal on the whole time? Hitler was much worse than that guy" -- overheard on plastic.com

MikeIt's a safe bet that much of the AI from TAW has been imported.. both good and bad. Targeting is really a pain. More on this in part 2. But as you've noticed, the manual doesn't tell you what T key really does. T is filtered by onboard EF2 computer to target the highest threat. Unfortunately, logic doesn't always follow. The good news is that on my refly of the mission (3 times) the strike flight did indeed engage. I don't know with what weapon.. it wasn't Brimstone. But anyway, they did engage. -------------------- Viking1
